Hey You 👋🏽, I’m Jason<\/span>. I’m an Interaction and Product designer based in San Francisco. I’m currently a Senior Product Designer at Earnest: a fintech company and number one leader in student loan refinancing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n

My economics background<\/strong> informs a lot of my thinking about the financial industry and products at large. My graduate thesis project was a crowdfunding app to help previously displaced people build credit. My interest have led me to start a non-profit homeless pop-up art gallery where artist receives 100% of the proceeds.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the past couple of years, I’ve been exploring how to make financial consumer products accessible to communities that are underbanked or underrepresented. I often try to bring a balance between accessibility and great design to financial products that are traditionally designed with one user in mind for one use case. When I’m not knee-deep in all things fintech chances are I’m watching Seinfeld, trying to read one book a week and failing or on my couch anxiously awaiting the return of Succession.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
